Toronto, Dec 9, 2014 – According to an announcement by Mediacorp Canada Inc., the City of Toronto was one of the winners of the 2015 Best Employer Competition in the Greater Toronto Area.

The Best Employer in the Greater Toronto Area has entered its tenth year. It is an annual competition organized by the editors of the top 100 employers in Canada. This special designation recognizes employers in the Greater Toronto Area who are leaders in their respective industries and provide excellent workplaces.

The City of Toronto was selected from 3,250 applicants who compared workplace operations and human resource practices with other related organizations to determine which provided the most advanced and forward-looking plan. New York City currently has approximately 33,700 employees.
Employers’ evaluation criteria are workplace, working atmosphere and social activities, health, financial and family welfare, vacations and vacations, employee communication, performance management, training and skill development, and community participation.
